We run canal boat trips for groups who support people with disabilities, people with learning difficulties, care homes, special schools, people with mental health issues and other reasons for not being able to generally access the canal. Groups that have used us for trips include MENCAP, special schools, day centres for adults with learning difficulties, SCOPE, SENSE, residential care homes, pensioner's groups, Breathe-Easy, Amputee Support groups, etc.

We have 3 canal boats that were purpose-built for people with disabilities, and volunteer skippers and crew to help the groups get the most from their day or residential trip. Two of the boats are 12 passenger wide-beam boats that can be used for day trips or residential trips, and the third is for day trips for up to 35 passengers (although it is licenced to carry more). The charity is totally run by volunteers, and has no employees

What we need - raffle prizes for a fund-raising raffle and 'Fun Day' on 28th September at the Red Lion, Nash Mills. Also promotion of the event and sale of raffle tickets would be good for us.

What we can offer - an unusual venue for a team-building day or team get-together (12 or 35 passenger canal boat).
