portFor several years now Storax Racking Supplies kindly donate bottles of port to Connect Dacorum to share out to local charities. 

This year, when the Any Use? email was sent out to the charities, all 6 bottles were snapped up within 7 minutes.  Must be a record!!

The local charities who have benefited are:  DENS, Cavendish School, Sunnyside Rural Trust, Hemel Hempstead Rotary Club, Rennie Grove Hospice and the Hospice of St Francis who are all running raffles or events in the run up to Christmas.

Ashridge Management College have donated storage units to the Hospice of St Francis and Sunnyside Rural Trust.

whc West Herts College were looking for local business people to give mock interviews and act as a business mentor to their students who were about to look for employment.  Following a request from Connect Dacorum several local companies offered their help.

Aubrey Park Hotel 2The Aubrey Park Hotel in Redbourn were refurbishing their establishment and therefore contacted Connect Dacorum to find a good home for a large amount of unwanted furniture and flat screen TVs. Druglink were delighted to collect all the items for use in their new venue at the building vacated by Hemel Magistrates Court.
